Converted the stock grill bracket to hold our weber.

Glad someone has found a good use for those brackets. I have two metal folding tables I setup outside my trailer under the patio awning area. I always thought if I wore them out I would do something similar for a table setup of some sort.

I know its safe to have grille in one of those but I always had feelings it was too close to the trailer wall. I've never used the grille that came with the trailer.

Looks good. Does the weber q use the same fitting as the stock grill or do u need to mod the propane line plumbing?

I removed the regulator off of the weber by the flame controller, and removed the fitting off the rv grill. Then put the quick connect fitting from the rv grill on the weber. No new connections needed. Works nicely.

Used the same arm for the grill mount. Cut the prongs off for the grill. Then made a 14"X21" frame out of 1.5" angle iron. Welded in expanded metal in the frame. Ground and welded to the arm at an angle away from the rv. Painted and done. Even retained the utensil hooks on the arm. Just bent the prongs up a little more to keep the utensil straps from sliding off so easily.

We had the same thing done last summer to accommodate our larger grill we had been toting. Lucky to have a brother-in-law who is a machinist. He moved the two "pins" that slip into brackets on the sides of the tiny bbq that came with the RV, had new pins wielded on further apart. Also, put on the locking screws to keep it tight.
I had a new hose built at the local propane dealership, a little longer and with the male quick connect end.

Looks great but I am a little hesitant to have that much heat next to the RV. A friend of mine actually did some damage to the exterior wall of his unit with his grill. Of course that was on the side, with no place for the heat to go, but I am gunshy.

I don't think the heat is an issue. We have an RVQ that came with our 26BHS and it is attached with the back of the bbq resting right up against the exterior wall. The only issue we ever had was that it is located directly under our bedroom window, and it was open, so some smoke came into the TT. Proximity with the arrangement you are referencing is a non-issue.

How do you like your Webber? I just bought the Q220 with the stand and hope to modify it to work off the TT line.

^2x Would like to connect it to the trailer quick connect on the back. The grill is great otherwise.

I really like my grill. Was easy to connect it to the line in the trailer. No additional parts. Will post a pic tomorrow.
