Has anyone installed drawers in 16XRB???

it drive me nuts that this has no drawers anywhere, has anyone ever installed some like behind the cabinets?? or anywhere?

if it were mine I would completely remove the sofa and build a large dresser of drawers in its place...would give all the drawers you would need for clothes and another 5 feet of counter space. Huge trade off for the 2 spots for sitting IMO

Wouldn't cost a lot if you are handy with plywood and a saw
