Hitch storage

Not my idea, saw it on the forum, but made it work for me. $20 receiver from harbor freight, the left over U-bolts from lifting my Tundra and a drill bit.

Wow, that is really cool. I keep mine in the garage at home, but I could see using this at a CG. I hate laying it on the ground.

Great idea. I’ll be hitting Harbor Freight tomorrow for that. I’ve got a spare locking hitch pin I’ll use with it. I could never come up with a good way to safely lock my hitch while I’m at a campground.

Another great use of the HF hitch is for tow bar storage. I took one and lag bolted it to a post in my pole building about chest high. When I remove the tow bar from my Jeep, I just slip it up into the hitch d pin it....works great.

Added this receiver set up today. Picked up the receiver at HF and some u-bolts at Tractor Supply. Works great, thanks for sharing.
