How to add fan with EZ lift vent

I am wanting to add a fan to my bathroom vent. I see people installing the Vortex fans, I’m not sure if I can with the style I have. Mine has the EZ lift style (guessing that is the correct term)

Not wanting to replace anything major, anybody know what options I have?

The fan manufacturer (Hengs) finally emailed me back. I sent them a pic of my vent with the weird handle and they said it will NOT work. I’ll update you if I find an alternative.
