Hummingbird 17RB cover

I purchased an RPod 179 cover for my hummimgbird, it fits well! Cover all sharp edges and install it front to back, paying particular attention to the TV antenna fins. I used inexpensive pipe insulation foam on the gutters and duct tape on the bottom corners to help protect the cover during installation. The zippered rear door entrance for easy access to the inside of the trailer is nice! See attached pics

Congrats but beware that duct tape will leave some nasty residue where applied, weathers quickly and may not protect. I read on another forum, or maybe this one where someone cut some plastic food containers to fit over the sharp corners rather than using tape. Old milk jugs might work.

Thanks! Plastic sounds like a great idea, do you know how they attached the plastic cutouts to the trailer? Maybe the cover itself holds it in place?

Don't remember if it was mention, but some velcro would look better than duct tape. Don't know if painters tape would work either. GL

3m has a duct tape that does not leave residue. Part number 2425 and cost is $9 at Home Depot.
