IceOnFire's mods to 28BHBE

Added shelving in kitchen and bedroom:

Added 2nd Group 24 battery in parallel configuration. Also added kill switches for each battery:

Added skid rollers to save the rear end while backing over steep dips:

Wooden slide drawers for underneath kitchen dinette:

Installed Wi-Fi boost antenna connected to router connected via Ethernet. This will broadcast campground Wi-Fi signals within a mile and share with devices connected to the Internal Wi-Fi router:

Manual cranks mounted on hooks inside the underneath storage. Compliments to crabman for the idea:

all looks well thought out and useful ... that's important ... looks like a lot of work and thought went into the mods ... I might have to do that with my manual cranks

IceOnFire's mods to 28BHBE

spepi: Wi-Fi hardware I used was a Ubiquiti Nanostation M2 CPE connected to an Airgateway LR wireless router. I mounted Nanostation on my batwing which is the highest point on my rig, and is the best place to catch good WiFi signals. The Nanostation is connect to (via Ethernet cable) and powered by the Airgateway Router which is mounted under my TV. I drilled a 1/2 inch hole in my roof and ran an Ethernet cable down. There is some technical setup involved, you can find some references on YouTube and Google which will get you going.

Thanks for posting your mods...

What did you use for supports for the Shelves?

Did your dinette seats come with black pull out trays?

Norty...

Here is what I ordered:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...rch_detailpage

Here is a video resource: http://youtu.be/-i8SmOf5ZTw

Running the cable was definitely the hardest part, and it's definitely not easy punching a hole through the roof.

We screwed in 3 inch cuts of wood which covered each side and the back. The shelf was cut so that it fit snug right on top of of cuts of wood. The storage closet sides are thin so you have to be careful on the size of screws you use.

Ice, Im a newbie to both trailer camping and forums. My Wife, Son and i just picked up our 2016 28BHBE last weekend and although we have only been playing with it in our driveway, we are rapidly falling in love with it. Could you help with a little more information on how you installed the shelves in the wardrobe closets. how did you support the shelves and what did you screw into? i'm a little nervous about putting holes in things yet.
