Install Fireplace & SubWoofer in our Pinnacle

Our Pinnacle 35LKTS that we bought off the dealer lot was quite loaded but did not have a Fireplace.

DW wanted a Fireplace so I shopped the Internet and finally found one at a RV Surplus Company for a great deal.

Also wanted to improve the sound quality of our Jensen Sound system. Contacted Jensen Customer Support and they suggested adding a Sub Woofer to the system and sent us the model number that would be compatible with our current Jensen Sound System. Found the Jensen Sub Woofer at a Marine Supply company online for a great price.

Finally got time yesterday to do the installation.

Cabinet before installation

Cabinet with Doors and Shelve removed

Jensen Sub Woofer installed

Fireplace install complete

Now that sounds like a Fun Mod, I saw a Redwood 5th Wheel at a dealer with a 55" TV in the back of it, it was awsome, 65" would be even better !!!!

Looks good Rob. You are much too motivated.

I already have the fireplace, but since I never turn my sound system on I don't need to add anything to it. I think I used it for the first week or so and then just quit. I'm not even sure where the remote it.

Ed, you are right I guess we are to motivaited, but this is our Home!

I do not know how the Pinnacle we found at the dealer was speced without a Fireplace, it has almost every other option available.
It seemed kind of odd when we bought it but was not a deal breaker for us.

We use the DVD player quite a bit and watch movies, the addition of the Sub Woofer gave us a little more punch and "Theater Sound" to go with our "Theater Seating" we put in! :hihi:

I wish the TV in our trailer poped up. Then we would have a large back window. You have the best of both worlds.

Clutch, if you really like the trailer your in you could have a large window installed, than get the apparatus to have the tv go up and down. Down the road I may install a second door and a front window. The trailer is still under warranty so it is not something I really want to do right away.

Murphie, it is fine as it is. I am sure the aluminum frame is set up for a window but we will live with it.

Update

The Dimplex Fireplace we bought came from a RV Surplus parts supplier.

We started having problems with the upper light control. I called Dimplex and gave them our Model Number and Serial Number and told them what was happening with the light control.

Customer Service at Dimplex asked when I bought the fireplace, I told them I was not the original purchaser. They looked up the manufacture date with the serial number and told me it was manufactured in Mar 2011 and was still under the 2 year warranty.

They said they would ship the replacement part to me at no charge since it was still under warranty. Received the part today and installed it, works great now.

I am impressed with Dimplex, that is great customer service, sure hope Jayco continues to use Dimplex as a vendor/supplier.
