Installing a black tank flush kit on 264bhw

I'm curious to know if anyone has installed a flush kit on their own.

If so can you suggest what kit some ideas of how hard it was to do and if you had it installed at dealer give an idea of cost

Thanks

I installed this in my last Class C. It's a fairly simple install if the tanks are accessible and you don't mind crawling around underneath your rig. You'll need the right size hole saw. I actually liked it enough to also install one in my gray tank also.

Have you considered one of these? I have a factory installed rinser but still use this cuz it seems to work just as well.

How Many?

I just bought a 2015 X-213. Jayco did not install a black tank flush this model year (they did on the 2016). Finding Jayco or 3rd party parts and instructions to install myself is not too tough. My question is the black tank is the width of the trailer. Do I need to install two of these on the long side of the tank or just one on the far end opposite the outlet pipe for best results?

I've done some research on this same thing. I have found that the tank has enough drop that you should not need 2. The only down fall I've heard of is the Tornado does not always spin as it should. The solution was to make sure it spins before install, this seem to be the only problem I've read about. As long as it spins freely before install it will be fine after.

Black Tank Flush

I looked at this flush kit but decided against it. I figured not poking added holes was a good thing.

I purchased a wand for $12 and wash the tank every so often.

Does anyone have the schematic of the black tank on the 264BHW. I am curious where the sensors are so that I can focus the spray better. My black tank sensor is never accurate.
