Installing second AC - 2017 Jayflight 29RKS

I want to purchase and install a second AC for the bedroom. It is pre-wired and there is a small plate on the ceiling where it goes.

Which unit should I buy, and what are the install steps? Separate thermostat?

Thanks!

Here is a video that will show you step by step, actually a pretty easy install. https://youtu.be/nbGKJMD-ibc

Great video! Thanks. My biggest concern is cutting a hole in the roof. Mine doesn't have a skylight where the AC will go.

I would suggest you send off an E-mail to Jayco with your Serial Number And VIN and request the drawings for your trailer BEFORE you make any cuts in the roof. I was thinking of doing the same to mine...a 266RKS..and they responded within one day and sent the exact prints for my trailer. It showed exactly where the roof was reinforced for the second air, and it was not in the center of my roof, nor where I thought it would be. Guessing on where to open the roof could be a big mistake, so request the prints. Good luck...
