Insulated A/C

Saw this project over in Tech, had to give it a shot! Makes perfect sense, will know difference next weekend camping by lake with zero shade.
Reflectix, Loctite Spray Adhesive, and Reflectix Alum Tape. Takes about 1.5 hours.

Nice work! Looks hot down there. Real hot. From what I've read about this lately (seems to be a hot topic) you will enjoy noticeable improvement from that mod. I'm all about mods like this but I have no reason to enhance my AC capability. We had the space heater running last night to keep things comfy while we enjoyed a drink and watched the news lol. It's been a cool, wet summer up here in Ontario this year.

Can't even imagine a space heater this time of year. Was 106 today, with 22% humidity. Got to work on my tan. Enjoy it

Jeez. It's been just above 70 most days so far here, with humidity 70-90%. I picked up a piece of paper in my garage the other day that had been in there all summer and it felt soggy. Dehumidifiers running 24/7.

Looks like you did a nice job on that project. Very clean and precise work. Hope it works well for ya.

I did mine last week but did not add the insulation inside the cover like your photo shows. I had a time getting the covers back in place.

I hope to give mine a real test in a week or so.

That makes a difference for sure. My son used to complain about his bunk air and he actually closed his vent last time out due to the increase. Good stuff
