Interior Lights Dimmer

Years ago I saw a post with a step by step description on how to install a dimmer on what I believe is the same trailer we have, a 2015 DSRL. The reason that it was not a standard install is that I think there is no positive at the switch. The lights are controlled by shutting off the common ground to all three living room/dinning room lights. Does anyone have a link to that post or another post that explains this procedure. I think the OP used the switch
https://www.amazon.com/Volt-Dimmer-L...NsaWNrPXRydWU= although I'm willing to use any switch. Thank you in advance for any direction you can give me.

Jeff

Sorry I don’t know what video you’re talking about but from what I understand a dimmer switch needs both a common and a ground wire. I’ve seen some guys splice into the fan in the bathroom for a ground. This seems to work well if you’re installing the dimmer switch in the bathroom.

Thanks Bill. Your links gave me a lot of good information. Now I need to go back into the trailer (when it gets warmer) and take a closer look at what I have. It's been a year or two since I looked at the back of the switch for the lights I want to dim. I was thinking I could reread the post and start working on the project in the Spring. I am sure I only saw black wires and I assumed that they were all grounds. I might be wrong. Thanks again for all the information. Jeff
