Where did you install your inverter and what would you do differently, looking for a clever place and ideas.

It is mounted in the front storage compartment just to the right of the SOLAR circuit and within 5' of the batteries.

I have to compliment the installer. This is a VERY clean setup, one that you should be proud of. Nice to see someone make the effort to do it right.

Yep, good job. I like taking it a step further and using a Xantrex inverter / charger. Eliminates the converter. The Xantrex XC 2000 is a much better 3 phase charger and is user definable on amount of charger amps to apply, what type of batteries, etc. I like an all in one unit that will charge and pass thru AC when on shore power and revert to inverter when shore power removed. Back and forth seamlessly with no user interaction.

No matter how one goes about it, an inverter or inverter charger needs to be placed as close to the batts as possible, and a minimum 150 amp fuse in the positive cable no more than 18" from the batts. Any inverter or inverter charger that is 1500w to 2000w should use no smaller than 1/0 cable from the unit to the batts to maximize efficiency and be safe.

Front passenger compartment mounted to the underside of the bedside counter tops. Made it tucked up out of the way, very close to batteries, and a short run to mount the remote switch right next to the solar charge controller.

I mounted ours in the front pass through. If I did it again I would get a remote switch as right now we have to lift the bed to turn it on and off. This is a bit difficult if your wife is asleep.
