Jay feather 165 remodel

My wife and I bought our 03 Jay Feather 165 in October. Since my wife is an interior designer, we tore into it almost immediately. Here a couple photos (stock photos from Jayco site) showing what it looked like when we got it.

We put in laminate, reupholstered, painted all cabinets and the fridge, and replaced the sink. Here is how it looks now.

It's a marked improvement over the factory colors. Nice work.

Any future plans for your rig?

Maybe a new radio so I can hook up my iPod, but other than that I just plan to use it.

Looks sharp. You two did a good job.

Recommendation, go up on the roof and check the caulking, to ensure it stays so nice.

I love to see TT's that have been personalized like that. Really some nice touches that have made it a "home".

Way ahead of you. It was too cold when I bought it so I took it to the dealer and had them reseal everything.

VERY nice job! The lighter color sure make it look bigger in there. What type/kind of paint did you use?

Nice work...I sometimes regret not buying an older trailer and do not the same my self. I may do so when I buy the one we are going to tow around the south when we retire in 5 plus years.

Love the pics!

That looks awesome. I especially like the floor. My 165 linoleum is looking very tired.

I ended up putting carpet in ours except for the bathroom area. Makes for a more cozy feel.

How hard is the carpet to keep clean? I put it in my last pop up in squares so I could remove and clean them. 50/50 on the results. They tended to move.

Just saw this thread!
Great job with the Reno!!
Currently working on my own 2004 165sport, but keeping the light wood, we like the "camper" feel
Do you still have yours? Any more mods?
