Jayco 226 Table Mod.

With no slide out, the dinette table leaves little room to walk by...Usually there are only 2 of us, so I added 2 more table socket brackets on the floor close to the bench seat. This give much more walk by room and the table is still fine. If you need people to sit behind the table just put posts back in original sockets.

That is a good idea. They should come that way or with an adjustable top.

OH I see what you are saying now... I was looking for it to move closer to the window or something like that to give you more hallway space so to speak. You just make it be closer to the other seat so this gives you more leg room while you are sitting at the table...

I was looking at 226 size as compared to the X213 I have been thinking about. I may have to look alittle harder at other trailers in the size range... This guy looks like it is lighter than the X213 and still has two sets of wheels under it...

I needed more room, and took mine completely out lol. (The dinette that is) Put in two swivel recliners since we rarely ate inside the camper, and bought a stowable folding table that went under the bed, and quickly back out and set up if needed. Best mod I ever did. It made it seem like we had the room of a TT with a slide out.

You have to click on the username and then "view public profile" to see the album and pictures.
