JayFlight 24RBS CRE-3000 questions.

I recently installed the Morryde CRE-3000, X-factor brace and Goodyear Endurance tires. First trip out was 1200 miles round trip. The camper definitely handled better although the roads through Indian, Illinois and Wisconsin were horrible at points.

My question revolves around something that has either been that way and I didn't notice or is a result of the suspension having more travel. I noticed when I got home that the slide side of the camper sets about 1/4" to 3/8" inch lower. I got underneath and did some measurements and the discrepancy does seem to be in the squat of the springs, which makes sense because of the added weight of the slide on that side. It doesn't appear to the be the rubber part of the Morryde compressing but the actual leaf springs themselves. Does anyone else notice that the slide side of the camper sets a little lower?

I will also give one negative to the Morryde suspension. The camper has a little more "wiggle" in it when I am walking around inside. I use x-chocks and that seemed to help previously but the addition of this suspension seems to have negated the anti-wiggle benefits of them. Not a huge deal to me but the wife doesn't care for it.

We do have some wiggle with ours also but it's not bothersome to us either.

Good chocks and leveling support may minimize it.

Yeah, I have used the BAL X-chocks on both of my TT with a noticeable improvement in wiggle. I feel that improvement was negated with the addition of the CRE-3000.

I'm not that worried about that as I don't feel it's that bad and you sort of adjust to it after the first day. My biggest question was the difference in height difference between the two sides.

My DW and children noticed the extra "wiggle" after the Morryde CRE-300 upgrade - I didn't. The wiggle doesn't bother me at all. I do use X-Chocks to help reduce it for them though.

My camper always sat just a bit lower on the opposite side from the slide which in my case is the kitchen, fridge, cupboard, drawers etc.

I just level it side to side. The heavier side will always be lower but leaving should account for that.

Interesting that it sets lower on the side away from the slide.

Of course I level it side to side when I am camping. I should have been more clear that I was referring to when I just back it in the driveway at home. I don't level side to side there because I prefer to have the water run off the side facing away from my house. When I noticed it had more "lean" than I remembered, I made a measurement from the driveway surface to the frame at the center of the suspension on each side and that showed the difference. It's really not an issue, it just made me question if other campers leaned to one side or the other. It may not even really lean more than it did before. It could just be one of those "I changed something and now I perceive a difference" moments. The added "wiggle" is for certain though.
