Keurig K-Cup Storage

I saw this on Pinterest awhile back, got around to it today. It’s basically 2” PVC pipe with a 1” finger slot cut into it. I mounted it to the roof of a slide pantry using double sided gorilla tape.Click image for larger version

Yes, it’s like the K-cups were made for 2” PVC. It has just the right amount of friction to keep them in place and make them easy to get out. It sure freed up some space in the pantry from K-cup boxes. This is a deep pantry so each tube holds 10 cups.

How long have you had it installed? I only ask as I'm curious how well the gorilla tape holds up over time (and bumps and temperature changes.)

Thanks.

Actually I installed some shorter ones back in June. All I had was 1 5’ piece of PVC. Had them in there all summer without any problems. It worked so well and my DW wanted to stock more after we went on a 2 week vacation, so in went the longer ones. The old ones were a pain to get off. The tape held up really well, there is no weight to this so to speak. And I live in SoCal so no freezing temperatures, just heat. I’ve used the Gorilla tape in a couple different places, it didn’t like holding a towel hook on the back of the laminate doors in the trailer, so in went screws. But worked well for a plastic bag holder under the sink on the cabinet door. My experience has been don’t put to much weight on it, for this application it’s perfect. Also this is on bare wood with just the primer coat on it.

Thanks for bumping this older post. Hope to have this little mod done before DW gets home. I'll be a real hero!
