L.E.D. light upgrade

I finally broke down and bought LED lights to replace the 921 bulbs for the interior . They cost about 8.00 each and I needed 14 to do the inside of my camper , but their brighter , no more yellow glow , run on less electric and should last alot longer , and a big plus is they stay cool to the touch . do a search on ebay for LED dome lights. Thanks for sharing Kipper. I tend to turn on multiple lights because I like it brighter at night where otherwise with just one on the lighting isn't that great. We will check into these bulbs. Judi

Saw a package of 8 lights at the dealer for $50.00.

Now that you've done this do you feel it was really worth making the change?

Smile

The ones I used were made by Rally part number is R24L 9.99 each on ebay
with free shipping . They are brighter , use less battery power , and they give off a white light , not a yellow . After a few years with the incandescent bulbs the socket start to melt , the leds stay cool . We feel it was worth the money .

Do the standard bulbs burn out fast enough that just systematically replace them as they burn out, or is it best done in one swell foop?

Most of the bulbs in our trailer were turning black from being used , so I just replaced them all , If you look up the item I replaced you will see its not a bulb , but a one inch square of led lights on a 3m sticker , the more leds the more light , I also tried the led bulb with just 3 leds and that does not produce enough light . They are also expected to last 100,000 hours . Hope this helps

When I Googled Rally R24L, the only hit I got was this thread.
