LED Dimmers installed (pics)

With the help of other threads I have installed some 12v dimmers. Wanted to share some pics. I installed a dimmer for the awning light and what I am calling the cabin lights. I bought two dimmers from amazon, seems to be the popular choice https://www.amazon.com/Volt-Dimmer-L...gateway&sr=8-3

I started by separating and organizing the mess of wires. I color coded the ground wires for the three switched light groups. Awning and step light marked blue. Kitchen sink lights marked orange. Cabin lights marked red.

Pic 1 is the mess I started with.
Pic 2 is an example of how the switch is wired.
Pic 3 is the rear view of the final result
Pic 4 front view.

I am no electrical expert, I just followed the instructions. I used the same ground for both switches and the kitchen sink light which is not on a dimmer. No flickering, dimming works great. Questions and comments welcome!

Looks good, Jayco sure likes to use those blue quick splices! Been thinking about adding some dimmers and came across this one that is the same style as the newer switches so I should just be able to replace the old ones. Going to try one out on a timed relay entry light ran off a door switch so when you come in the coach, LED's under the cabinet toekicks will come on automatically for a set amount of time to illuminate the floor area coming in.

The only thing I see in your pics that I dont like is the use of wire nuts.....IMO there is to much vibration in a RV for wire nuts. You could either tape them up or swap out for crimp on connectors.

Full bright and full dim pics.

Rusty, I considered that dimmer also, they are nice. I am not worried about the wire nuts. I zip tied the wiring real good, nothing is moving. Your lighting idea sounds sweet
