LED Step Light
I'd like to add a step light similar to this to our 16XRB.
The easiest way to run the wiring would be to drill a small hole through the floor and then seal it up with some silicone after pulling the wire through. In our trailer, there is a small open cubby just inside the door to the left, and next to the cubby is the breaker/fuse/converter panel. I'll be wiring the switch to one of the 12v fuses. Any potential issues drilling thru the floor below that cubby?
(Picture is not my trailer - for illustration only)

None whatsoever as long you caulk it like you said. There are already plenty of holes in your floor from the manufacturing process and the size you'll be drilling will probably be the smallest of them all. Drill, baby, drill.

If you can install a grommet in your hole to run the wire thru so it doesn't get chafed and short out.

I'm hoping that the caulk/silicone will eliminate any chafing and I'm not sure I could even find a grommet that small. Thanks for the tip though!!

Use wire loom. The floor is fairly thick. Watch the black tank. Mine goes back fairly far but I don't think to that cubby.

The area underneath the cubby is wide open - thanks for the warning though!!
I might use heat shrink tubing as some added protection for the section of wire that will be going thru the floor.

Done!!!
One of my weekend projects, along with the water heater drain.
Supplies used:
1 12" Blue LED Strip
1 Switch with matching blue LED
Some wire
Some silicone caulk
Solderless push-on connectors
Heat shrink tubing
A few wire ties
I mounted the strip above the steps, drilled a hole thru the floor in the cubby area and ran the wires. I used some heat shrink tubing to protect the wires going thru the floor and then caulked both sides. The ground wires from the switch and the strip were connected to the frame bolt just to the rear of the step (very convenient) and the power wire from the switch was run to the #3 12v/15a fuse via the rear of the power converter box/unit/thing. It's on the same fuse as the bunk and bathroom lights. Wire ties were used to keep everything nice and clean. I located the switch just inside the door for easy access from the outside (and it made the wiring that much easier). And of course, the LED indicator on the switch to remind us to turn it off before going to bed.
Sorry for the crummy pics....

As mentioned, there are plenty of holes already drilled in the floor. Here are a few examples.. See if you can use any existing holes and run it under the TT.
