Let the mods begin

A couple of mods I have made so far. I needed the bumper space for some future mods so I moved the spare tire under the trailer. Went to a friends junk yard and got a spare tire crank from a pickup and welded a frame to hold it then bolted it to the fram. Sure hope that I got the pictures posted right.Click image for larger version

What is the clearance from the bottom of the tire to the ground? It looks like it would catch/drag when entering or leaving and entrance/exit that has incline/decline

It's about 14" I think it will be fine it is higher then the axle and mounted about 6' from the back of the trailer. I will have to really watch it though

Your newly mounted spare is close enough to the axle that clearance would not be a problem. I prefer our spare to be under the trailer because most bumper mounts don't look real sturdy when you follow one down the road.

I made a clothes drying rack that mounts to my roof ladder out of a leg of a pop up tent that took flight like a kite in the wind a couple of weekends ago. I had seen a picture of a wooden one on the internet so I thought what the heck let's make it out of the tentClick image for larger version

ID:	13061 Installed an occupancy sensor for the main lights that way I don't have to try to find a switch behind a little door that hides the switches in the dark. If I want the lights off while in the trailer I just flip the switch off
