Maxxair fan - would it fit?

Hello,

I posted this in different sub forum, but did not get any response. I am trying to figure out whether this fan (Maxxair)

https://www.amazon.com/Maxxair-00070...=sr_1_5&sr=8-5

Would fit Jayco roof hole.

Amazon shows Product Dimensions 26 x 21.5 x 16.6 inches. Jayco shows that the vent where the standard fan is installed is 1 1/8 X 1 1/2 x 15 7/8 (28DSBH).

Thank you!

Bono, are you sure on those measurements of the vent standard fan? 1 inch by 1.5 inch by almost 16 inches? That would be one crazy looking fan.

I had a fantastic fan installed in a 26RKS and it fit the standard hole. Per the QA on Amazon the maxxair does fit the standard RV opening.

Thank you Guys! This is very helpful and I will be ordering this fan.

Another question - 28DSBH comes with a hidden vent framing just in front of the skylight. Is it risky / difficult to cut the hole in (a new) trailer? I will be boondocking most of the time and would like to make sure that there is a good air circulation in the trailer.

Thank you!
