Mods for my 22J
Finished my first Mod on my new to me 22J. Removed the old analog thermostat, and replaced it with a digital one. It's so much better to set the precise temperature I want, rather than guess at it.
I had a devil of a time getting the wires out of the little hole. Had a dickens of a time getting the wires back into the little hole.
#1 is the old thermostat.
#2 is the wiring for the old thermostat.
#3 is the wiring for the new thermostat.
#4 is the thermostat screwed back to the wall.
#5 Is the completed new thermostat.

We did the exact same mod on our other camper. It made it so much nicer inside with a almost constant temperature. Jay

Nice, at least you had some spare wire to work with. I had less than maybe 1 inch of wire to work with, what a pain!

A Digital T-stat has always been one of our first mods whenever we got a new camper.

Had a ton of wire. Unfortunately, the hole in the wall was small. Devil of a time fishing it out of the wall, and a devil of a time putting it back in.
The hole in the wall of my former 23RB TT, was large. Almost like the guy took a hammer to the wall. This time, looks like a nice small drill hole saw was used.
