Mods on our 32RLSG2

I am finally getting around to posting a few pics of some of the mods I have done to our Jayco 32RLS G2.
* Added second battery
* Put on battery cut-off switch (left over from boating days)
* Switched to electric jack
* Added a quick disconnect to the city water inlet
* Put two fans on the fridge air intake grate (space was limited for mounting inside)
* Rear bumper hitch for carrying the bikes
* Digital thermostat (Hunter) conversion
* Installed small hooks to hang keys on to the message board in the hallway
* Put LED push light under the cabinet in the bathroom over the toilet (So I don't wake up the DW at night)
* Pic of our TT in the back yard

Very nice! On the batteries - are those 2 - 24s, 2-27s, or 2-6s? I am eventually going to add a second one and it looks like only another 24 will fit without modification to the battery rail.

Nice mods. One thing you have makes me jealous, that huge awning. It seems that every time we trade the awning gets shorter for us.

Hi,
I added the quick dis/connect as well. Here in CA the water is so bad crap builds up so fast I have to scrap it clean every 2-3 connect disconnect cycles. I'm going to try something else because pushing on that connection looks like it bends the original connection pretty bad.
If someone has a good idea for a quick connect connection for the RF connector I'd be interested. All the ones I've tried can't handle the weight of the extra cable.
Jim

You might try a thin film of plumber's grease on the surfaces of the quick disconnect parts. It might keep the scale from building up on them and reduce the amount of pressure needed to push them together.

Nice mods. We put those puck style lights under the shelves in our pantry too to help find stuff in the back.

Those are both 12volt group type 24 deep cycle marine batteries. We do not do a lot of boondocking but we do sometimes take advantage of the gracious Wal-Mart over night policy. The extra battery does help keep the 12v fans in the TT and the heater (when needed) running longer without the fear of them shutting off in the middle of the night. We have had the heater shut off in the night before the addition of the second battery which helped prompt this mod.

I found this style at Wal-Mart they are the metal type and work much smother than the plastic ones.
When you mention the RF connector are you referring to the F type connection for the TV cable outside of the TT? If so then you are right all the ones I have seen slide off way to easy. I have thought of trying an F type to BNC male adapter on the trailer and a F type to BNC female on the coax.

This is a metal one. I have a tool now that I scrap the white deposites off prior to pressing it on.
