Mods to my 247J QUEST SERIES 03FW

I have been working on some up-grades and additions. I will try and include before and after pics. Yes, I did the woodworking as well. A hobby of mine. Allot of this was done because I HATE thin plastic stuff. Also going to replace the plastic trim around the ceiling fan units with all wooden parts after I up-grade to fantastic fans...

Very nice work. It's always great to see a craftsman's work.

I'd highly recommend swapping out your thermostat for their digital version. This was one of my most comfortable mods!

Cheers.

Replacing the thermostat with an upgraded version is on my list. Should I go with a Dometic or is the Coleman a better fit? I think mine has 6 wires.

As others have found that going with the Coleman is a color-for-color wire swap. Mine was almost the same but still very straight forward. About a year and a half later it's still working great. Kinda pricey if I remember it was close to $50.

Enjoy!
