Mor Ryde stair upgrade

Added the latch on the non latch side of the stairs. Beyond me why they don’t have the latches on both side. Pretty sure the Wildwood we had did. Added washers and locknuts also. Only used the camper once an the stairs have bent the door frame from the stairs, hard to see in the one photo. Now I will add shim as there is about 1/4” slop between the latch and the latch plate/door frame.
Not sure why this is the only forum I am on that insists on loading pictures upside down. I turn the original photo upside down and it still loads upside down. Can’t win

We have a 33RBTS as well and I have been thinking that the factory left the latch off the one side of the stairs. Where did you get the additional latch? I don't like the slop / bounce in the stairs when closed either.

Good Morning,

Thank you for your inquiry. If ordered by the factory, the steps do typically come with only one side that latches and a bracket on the other, this way you can hold the step with one hand while releasing the latch with your other hand. If you would like to add the other bracket, we do have these in stock and they can be ordered directly through us if you would like to do so:

STP57-169R - $21.99 each, plus shipping

If you have any questions, please let us know. Have a great day!

Thank you,

Kaytie Hare

What helps me on the pictures is a very slight crop. Then when uploaded it is always the correct way.

I tried that and it worked. Thanks. Now I only have to remember to do that every time I post a picture!
