That looks like a nice addition to your trailer. I am thinking about it because of bad knees. Was it difficult? Did you have any problems on the install? Thanks

I installed the steps a few months ago. Pretty simple actually. Hardest part, and most important part, is to make sure your measurements are spot on.
The downside to the steps is to make sure they are clean when you put them back up. Otherwise anything on the steps is in your camper.
We like these stairs. The dogs like these stairs.

Those are getting great reviews with the only negative that I’ve heard is what Cariboo points out.
I installed Tork Lift steps about a year ago and think they’re great.

Very easy to install just measure twice. Only thing bothering me is my ocd with having 2 sets of steps II am waiting to hear back from jayco about the body panel that fills the original step opening. Morryde also offers a storage box that would fill the spot but kind of like the clean look of the campers with factory morryde steps.

I just installed Lippert Solid Step to my FW. Picked this model because my wife liked the large top step. These steps are a nice upgrade.

Anybody bought the bolt on handrail for these? Any issues with interior clearance especially with counters near the entry door?

If buying the morryde steps they make two types, one that folds up into the rv and the other you remove.
I have the Tork lift step because I have to open it in my garage. I can open it to the width of the door.
Its all about how long you are going to stay at a location, me I move a lot and could not use the fold in step on a toy hauler. The big thing is going from a 3 step to a 4 step with bottom legs.
Lots money but a fall would cost you a lot more.

Don't know if anyone else have any issues but I noticed one of the steps flexed at the edge after inspecting it I found it was missing a step tread bolt . I called morryde and sent pictures they agreed to replace it and one is on it's way. Wasn't happy about it but I can't complain about there customer service..
Just to be clear the bolt is in an area that is riveted together unless you drill out the rivets you don't have access to replace it. Not doing that on brand new steps

I had them installed on my 5th wheel when we purchased, they are great. Went back to the dealer and worked with the parts guy to buy a piece of scrap skirting for 5.00 dollars. Took out the folding steps and put in the skirting, purchased matching paint and painted to match skirting. Looks great. Trailer in storage so I can not post a pic at this time but will. That's the only complaint I have with the steps is when it's in storage parked next to another camper you can't lower the step to get into the camper.

My only complaint about the steps and it’s not a big complaint at all is that a lot of dirt collects under it and around it when you put them up especially if it’s raining out and it’s very muddy but other than that we love them

We installed a set in our TT and love them as we are 70 and have replacement knees. Our Scottie loves them too. Easy to install but measure twice. We got the tool box as well and use it. We did not get the side rail as we had one installed when we bought the TT.

Did anyone have any problems with installation just bought a 2013 26.5 RLS and the threshold height is about 1/8 inch lower than required and both doors seem flush on bottom of threshold. New to forum so probably gonna have a lot of questions.

A lot of people complain about stuff getting into the trailer when you fold then up. We have always kept a rug in the entrance, so when you fold the steps up it catches any thing that drops.
