Most useful Modification
What's the most useful modification you have done to your camper?
Here's mine: I connected a small induction coil in series with a resister to my hot water heater power line. When the current is flowing, indicating heating water is being heated, the induction coil lights a small green LED that I placed under my inside steps.
When someone showers, It comes on until the water is heated and lets us know when it is on. Also it's handy when you are setting up to know that water is actually being heated.

First has to be the portable solar panel we purchased for boondocking. Keeps the battery charged each day.
Ours second is a shoe rack that I built under the steps. When ever we fish, hike through mud, dust, etc. shoes go under the steps for drying/aerating. Keeps them out of the way, we haven't tripped on them once.

A dishwasher.. countertop style.. I hate doing dishes. If I had to do it again though I would get a full size (roll around style) as the counter top wont take full size plates.

Our X20E had no drawers in it. Glaring omission and very annoying. So I did this:

I have done my fair share of mods, but the combined collection of drawers I made to improve storage is probably the most useful for us. (see here for the curious)

I would say replacing the axle, Lifting it and getting rid of the ridiculously small tires, adding pressurized water, shower, and removing the AC unit for a Maxxfan. I also just added a digital thermostat and USB charger. And I can't forget the LED lighting conversion!

12v Power port ('Cigarette Lighter') Digital Voltmeter. Ours is ALWAYS plugged into the 12v socket.
Shows...
- battery state when boondocking
- converter charging voltage when on shore power or generator
- the tow vehicle charging voltage when towing
Priceless 12v information for under $10.

I'm still quite happy with adding lighting in the pantry. Couldn't see a thing towards the back prior. Digital voltmeter is very useful too.
Still need more USB...

I would say removing the outside camp kitchen and useless shelf in favor of additional storage is at the top of my list.

Removed the recliner nearest the entry door. You couldn't recline in it anyway without blocking entry/exit.
Put a desk and office chair in that location.

Pullout drawers under the kitchenette seats and under the bed. Makes it much easier to access so the space is now user friendly.

Made the Kitchen drawers larger,added the leaf on the left end, removed the stove and put the wave in its place and added the cutting board. Now have a 7' counter top and 2 portable butane burners when needed. Easy food prep work area for 2 people if needed.

A recent one we use a lot - flexible LED reading/night lights on each side of the head of the bed. We both like to read for a bit before turning in and the main light over the head of the bed is completely useless except to blind you.

Cut the permanently mounted shore power cord and added a inline surge protector. The surge protector is now stored and used inside a locking compartment and the shore power cord can be coiled and stored anywhere now when traveling. So much easier. Got that tip here on this forum!

Nothing exotic, but the Camco flip-up shelf I added has paid for itself many times over. You can never have enough counter space!

Maxair vent cover. Went on a hike once and forgot to close the cover pre maxair. Won't do that again as we had a storm blow through when we were gone. Enough said....
