Mounted TV and Bunk Ladder in our "new" 2011 Jayflight 29QBH

Finally had a little time to work on our recently purchased Jayflight 29QBH trailer and really wanted to get the 32" VIZIO LED TV hung in the entertainment swivel cabinet as well as mount the bunk ladder in the bunk area.

To mount the VIZIO TV we purchased a VideoSecu wall mount from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 that attaches to the wood in the TV area. I had to modify the bracket slightly to accept the screw pattern in my TV, but that was no big deal. Also used a 1" bolt to attach the other side of the bracket to the wood instead of the 2" bolts supplied. I figured out that the swivel cabinet has about a 1.25" thick piece of wood with a small gap as well before you hit the mirror on the other side. I like this mount because it has 2 quick releases so I can take the TV down during travel also it has just a slight angle of downward tilt so when we are in the bedroom it is the right angle. I would leave the TV mounted, but it can slide from side to side on the bracket if not careful and I do not want to take any chances.

The bunk area did not have a bunk ladder and even though my daughter really is a gymnast she needed a little help to get up in the top bunk. I purchased the Stromberg 60 inch ladder also from Amazon. I cut 6" off the bottom to make it the correct height, but that was easy. The only challenge I faced is that I did not want to secure the ladder permanently to the bunk through the cloth wrapped fascia. Therefore we bought a pack of 1" corner brackets (the wider style) from Home Depot and secured those under the bunk mattress against the inside edge of the fascia. The bracket at the top of the ladder now rest against the brackets under the mattress and the bottom of the ladder rest on the floor. The 1" height is just right also as it sits below the fascia and mattress so you have a very low chance of scrapping yourself.

Will post pictures soon.
