my mods

Here are a couple of mods I have done so far to my 1999 fiver. The first one I cleaned every square inch of the outside and applied Zep wet look to bring back the shine. The difference is amazing

Next is the new TV with an articulating mount. Thus gave us more storage in the old TV spot and a bigger nicer TV.

Soon I will be replacing the crappy radio I am just waiting on a special plate to fill the gap.then I will replace the speakers eventually.
Then I will finally install the vent cover over the bathroom vent, and install the Honeywell thermostat that I read about on here. Not enough time in the day with work and 2 kids

Thumbs up Nice

Nice wax job - I will have to look into that for our 2007 - could use a little more shine!

Look around for info on red Max pro. It is a floor sealer that ALOT of people have done to their rv's. I don't know if I would do it to a newer RV if it still looks good with a wax. I did a post on RV.net about mine since very few people had pics of an aluminum sided rv's before and after.

Yep. Those pugs are crazy silly! Would like to have a non shedding dog--but there's nothing like a pug!!

Jjotmo, that wax job looks fantastic. I'll have to find that Zep stuff and give it a go.

Pugmom, pugs are wonderful dogs. I lost mine last Oct and I have missed her every day since. The shedding is a pain but what you get in return makes it worthwhile.

Yes, it is. If you search for red Max pro you will find a bunch of info about it. Red Max pro was Lowes store brand of the zep products and rmp was discontinued. So I got the zep

Thank you. I wish i would have spent a little more time on prep. I had around 6 hours in prepping alone but since I did it I notice all the imperfections. It is nice though. Here is a link that has before and after pics

Finally got a chance to install the new radio today. The executive 7000 was not cutting it and the cd player would not stay closed and the display just went out. I got this JVC at wally world for $80 and the mount from mito corp. for $26 shipped. if anyone has an older jayco this mount makes it look great. The sound quality is night and day. I figured I would replace the speakers next since it sounded so bad before but the new radio has it sounding great. I may eventually replace the speakers but I really don't see a need for now.
