Beautiful! Are these pvc tiles or metal? I want to add a back splash too. I wonder if the pvc would hold up near the stove.

It is a Vinyl stick on tile. We got them at Lowes.
Here is a link Shop Smart Tiles 6-Pack White Glossy Composite Vinyl Mosaic Linear Peel-and-Stick Wall Tile (Common: 10-in x 10-in; Actual: 9.1-in x 10.02-in) at Lowes.com

Honestly I have not thought too much about a heat issue, but we do not live full time and generally use the grill outside. We have used the oven a few times and one or two burners on the stove with no issue.

Smile New Backsplash

I completed the kitchen and bathroom back splashes this weekend on our new 2015 RLSW. They are Smart Tiles from Lowes.

I actually installed smart tiles in my house over the winter. They look great and are very durable. The key is to prep the surface well, and be sure to change razor blades often while cutting. I went through quite a few box cutter blades.

Looks great, my first thought was it was regular tile with grout. Was going to ask to report back to how the grout held up with movement. But now see it's vinyl. Only possible concern would be when using the oven as a great deal of heat is vented out at the rear of the unit. I would make sure the fan was on and most likely will not be an issue. Please let us know how it works out.

Very nice looking! Do be careful about the oven heat though (if you use your oven). I sort of melted the edge of one of my sink cutting boards - I had leaned it up against the wall in back of the stove. It can get really, really hot back there.

They cut very easily with a new razor knife and a level or some straight edge as a guide. You can use scissors too. Use some board under the tile .

I read on the package at Lowe's that you had to be so far(don't remember exact measurements) from heat. I know the stove is closer than whatever the measurements were. Please let us know how they hold up. I love the look.
