New floor

We just bought a 2011 25.5rks, it has the carpet in the main living area and I’d like to rip up the carpet in the main floor and leave it on the slide portion, My question is has anyone used a
Vinyl locking floating floor? Or do you just glue down sheet vinyl b/c of the movement issue?
Thanks!

There will be vinyl under the carpet.

A good friend installed vinyl planked over the old floor in his TT. I do not recall him, stating anything about gluing it down. Unfortunately he has passed on, so I can not ask.

I did the plank floor in an older camper I had. Great stuff. Make sure you get a quality one. Glue down is not a good option. I can explain if needed but on my phone right now
