New mod - what to do with under-bed storage

The under-bed storage in our 2008 26BHS became just a collection point for rarely used stuff, while my wife complained that was no real storage for shoes.

She wondered if it would be possible to add drawers under the queen bed to use as shoe storage.

I built these using scrap 1/2 plywood and full extension drawer hardware. I used my table saw with a dado blade to make drawer joints. The drawers measure 26" X 18" and are 10" deep.

(also added a picture of our new toy we intend to try out this weekend at Penrose Point State Park.

Nice work. My wife would have those full and want more on the other side.

Built same for the under bed storage, but only on the curb side, to hard to access the camp side of the bed. DW uses for our dirty laundry, what can you do?
