new seating area-Jayco x19 Hybrid

We hated the uncomfortable dinette and jack knife sofa, so we took them out! We replaced the dinette with a narrow bench and replaced the sofa with a deep bench. In case we want to "turtle", we can use the back cushions to span the whole area and then put our mattress on top of the whole thing. Can't wait to go camping now!! Unfortunately, the whole of California is on fire, so not sure when that will happen!Click image for larger version

Hi weedmeyer. I just joined the forum a few days ago. I really like what you did here and thinking about doing this to our 2008 jay feather 218.

This looks great. Any hints on construction? And did you make your own cushions?

I missed this when it was originally posted.

GREAT JOB!!! This is what I wanted to do when I redid the floor but the wife was against it. I just think a U dinette would be more comfortable than the small booth style.

This poly plastic table could be used there and still have a place to eat. $39 Homedepot. This one is 4 ft and adjusts to 3 heights.
