Next small mod done by me, Baggage Door Clips

Just finished adding clips to hold open baggage doors on the 22J. Why Jayco skips this necessary item on a unit that costs as much as the Redhawk series of motor homes is beyond me.

Jayco put these clips on my old Jay Flight 23RB trailer, and the 23RB is an entry level RV in the TT line.

No offense, but you should have looked into magnets. My experience with plastic is they don't last long.

Understand. However only the generator door would get close enough to the fiberglass side to latch. Also, each lock had a finger pull that also kept the door away from the side wall.

The plastic clips on my trailer lasted 3 years and were showing no signs of deterioration. Hopefully these will also.

Our clips are the originals. They don't break 'cause I have a couple of spare ones. Isn't that always the way it goes?

I’m with you, Atlee, I don’t understand why it didn’t come with some kind of a latch! Looks nice. Jay
