Northpoint Booth Back Board

Kinda surprise I haven't heard anybody with the booth backing board issue. DW is only 100lbs and the board kept falling apart. Jayco uses a couple inch angle with four screw in barely 1/2" osb board. I redone it like a few of my older units with a longer angle and twelve screws. So far its holding up, no problem. It was approved by Jayco to fix but never happened so I had to do something for now. My last resort may be a decorative screw through the angle with a lock nut if it happens again.

Jayco doesn't overdo it on any fasteners in the trailers. My fiver has the J-couch and the storage portion was screwed to the wall with a couple of the stadard screws they use on everything. They broke and the couch was moving in transit. The bed portion also broke away from the storage section. I screwed them back in place with larger screws so I'll see if that holds up on the trip this winter.
