Outdoor kitchen door mod

So our 2016 32bdsw outdoor kitchen door came with pretty heavy handles/locks to open and close. Our 2018 came with 4 turn latches and one locking thumb, cam lock. Very difficult to open. So here's my solution:


Used 1"x1/8" thick aluminum as a backer inside, keeping in mind when tightening this, the door is essentially hollow and yes, you can over tighten and crack the outer shell.
