Outdoor Shower to Sink Conversion?

Wondering if anyone out there has ever done, or seen, a modification to the outdoor shower into something more like a sink?

We replaced our 2009 JayFeather 29L with a 2022 JayFeather 25RB last Fall. The 29L had a great outdoor kitchen with a sink. We used it ALL THE TIME! The 25RB has a small outdoor kitchen with no sink

The 25 RB has an outdoor shower on the rear wall. We never used the outdoor shower in all the years we had it available to us. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a conversion or modification where the outdoor shower was converted into something more along the lines of a sink. I've seen portable sink/tables (fish cleaning tables are one example) and wondering if I could modify the plumbing from the shower.

Yes, I know I'll need to have a catch for the grey water I produce.

Anyone?

Maybe you could make a portable sink that could attach to a bumper grill mount with a rail, and just use the shower head at the sink.

Great idea! Outdoor shower would still be available if needed.

I did just what you described...just cut the hose in the outdoor shower and fitted a coupler to attach a garden hose. Run the hose to my "fish cleaning table" next to the grill at the J-Port. I use a bucket to catch the gray water from the table.

Yes! This is what I'm going for. Thanks for the photos. Gives me some ideas.

Ultimately I'd like to have both hot and cold water at the sink. This will likely mean I need to run two hoses, but I'm willing to do that.

You would have to re-plumb the shower controls to split the hot and cold water but itís doable. Post pics when finished. Good luck.
