Pass through sliding tray

I'm considering building or buying some sort of sliding tray for the pass through storage. Has anyone done a mod like that? Would love to see creative ideas.

MORryde makes sliding trays in a wide variety of sizes. Used to have them on our fire trucks to make equipment easier to organize and access.

I had one in a previous rig. It would slide out on either side of the front compartment in my fifth wheel.

My only comment is it took up a lot of room in the compartment and it adds some weight to the tongue of a 5er.

If you want a DIY version, you could build one using garage door tracks and your own “tray” or “drawer box”
