Possible to remove upper bunk from 2016 26BHSW?

Our daughter is getting taller and she's constantly hitting her head on the upper bunk. Although I’ll miss the storage on the upper, I’m wondering if anyone has removed the upper bunk. How hard is it to take it out? We would reinstall if and when we sell it.
