Power Cord Strain Relief

I did the Marinco detachable shore power cord mod a few years ago and I am very happy with it. Recently I noticed that there seems to be some excessive strain where the cord exits the twist lock due to the weight of the cord. Any thoughts on strain relief immediately following the twist lock connector?

The make a "90", not cheap, but very effective. It says also available in 30 amp.

I like to use as few plug type connectors as possible. I had one of those 90 deg adapters that cost a fortune melt on me years ago. I eliminated it and just use the locking ring.

I have seen all types of Rube Goldberg solutions. Some as simple as a broom stick on the ground attached to the cord with a small bungee cord to relieve the strain.

A stick-on hook attached next to the connection point, with a short toggle cord looped around the cable. You can use that to form a "U" in the cable which will relieve stress and stop water
