Problem solved: Jayco single 7 gallon lpg propane mount

Just bought a 2016 jayco 154BH Baja and I've done quite a bit to it already but this is the first mod I'm writing. Hopefully more to come in the future. The way these tanks come mounted the tank wiggles and does not feel secure at all. Just 2 bolts to the bottom of the tank doesn't work when it's full and top heavy.
I used some all thread rod and a small piece of angle iron and it's pretty self explanatory after that. Just be careful how deep you drill the slits for the tank as it won't open if the angle iron sits too deep. Access to a grinder and drill and your done. Much more of a solid mount. Now just need a propane tank cover and she's ready to go.

Congrats on the new unit and welcome to the forum. You'll find a ton of great people willing to help.

I felt the same way on my 195RB Baja and did a similar fix as shown here:

Near the end of the thread is a pic of the cover I got for mine along with the details if you want to look for one yourself.
