Propane Tank

Our hybrid has one 20 lb propane tank. We are going to add a tank. It is too hard to remove the two bolts holding the tank. This is the worst thing I can’t stand about our trailer. After this summer I will get the trailer weight and see the change in weight. If I didn’t like this trailer so much we would trade it in.
Has anyone added a propane tank?

I have a 16XRB Hybrid, and added a second 20lb tank. I also upgraded to a group 27 battery. The duel propane tank kits are available at Amazon, Etrailer, and else where. Ez install. The 2nd tank full will add an additional 80 lbs to the tongue weight. I weight my tongue wt with a scale. It was about 520 lbs

The 80 pound increase you mention seems a bit high since the overall weight of a full 20 pound cylinder is far less than that (usually 37-40 pounds). The weight when added is also distributed between the axle(s) and tongue, with the tongue getting the greater share of that added weight at the tongue. Maybe I'm missing a detail or two or that was also including the upgrade to the size 27 battery too.
