Push Button Bed Lift

I installed a power bed lift for our Queen bed. After swapping out the mattress about 6 months ago, and then adding new gas struts it was still very heavy to lift. So, after watching a couple of YouTube videos I ordered the actuator and switch from Amazon and installed it today. It's rated to lift 330 pounds.

I did reinforce the bed platform with two small 2x4's, but it was a pretty easy install. Now my wife can just push a button instead of calling me to lift the bed to access the storage area. Only cost about 60 bucks and a couple of hours labor.
