Great job! The disconnect switch is a necessity that I will install when our new TT arrives, I like seeing how you opted to install yours.

Where did you buy the LED's? Can you put up a link please. Also was it fairly easy to install? I want to change mine out because we don't like using the factory ones because they are so bright.

Good job it looks awesome.

Thanks!

Thanks, other than nerve rackingly drilling a hole in side, was pretty simple. I liked these because they dim on white as well as have variations to color. Good Ole Costco

Installed framing for bed and cubby bracing today. No more sagging bed and will be stable for mounting attachments on for transport.

But it would be nice if they would run on 12 volts instead of 28. That way I could wire it directly into the 12 volt system.

BuddyRay,
Thank you. I knew about step down transformers but just didn't think of a step up transformer.
Again, thank you.

This looks a lot like my jayflight 26bhs. Can you show how you routed the wiring. I'm about to tackle this and would love to see how you did it

Yes and no. I'm pretty sure I've figured out a way. But not sure it's the easiest. I was going to t put the transformer / or sensor in the outside light fixture. Wire it to the switch. Drill through in to the cabinet. And extend the 5 pin connector through the cabinet behind the power outlet/ antenna outlet. Into the top bunk through the outer skin to the led strip

Finally got Progressive Industries EMS-HW30C installed. Pretty simple and glad to not have to worry anymore.
