Rain Spout Extensions

I made my own rain spout extensions for our JayFlight 22FB. Easy mod took about an hour. I used 3/4 inch PVS cut two 4 inch pieces and split them in half. Then cut a notch in each piece to fit the existing rain spout. Glued in place with PVC glue. See photos.

Be careful, hitting a branch may do some damage to the gutter. My rig came with them and they stick out more than I am comfortable with. I had the snap on type on the old rig and they were always getting knocked off by branches.

So far, no damage.

Looks good! Just remember that most states only allow "Wide Load" rigs on the highway during daylight hours:hihi: Might want to slap some conspicuity tape on there!!
