Remove rain shield when installing slide topper?
Has anyone installed a slide topper where they have this rain shield over the slide? Does it need to be removed or will the topper clear it?

I had a slide topper installed and they removed the gutter and reinstalled it as the “anchor” for the edge of the topper material
