Removing love seat in a jayco Swift

Has anyone removed the bench couch that turns into a bed. Any advice?

I removed the sleeper sofa from my Jayco right after I bought it. I don't remember exactly how I did it, other than unscrewing the frame supports from the floor. I may have disassembled it before tossing it out the TT door.

Your furnace might be hidden under the sofa. If so, you'll have an ugly plywood box in plain sight. I built a finished plywood box, withe a register for airflow, over the existing box. There was a half-wall behind the sofa, which I also removed. The trim on the half-wall edge fit was reused on the edge of the remaining wall.

It's nice having the extra space, since I didn't need the sofa.

Our love seat/sleeper sofa is on our slide out. I don't think there will be a problem with the heater vent. Thanks for the reply. It makes me less nervous to let my family take it out and remodel.

Curious as to what you put in the unit after removing the sofa and half wall.

Our Pinnacle is at Camping World right now and we are having the love seat/sleeper sofa removed and replaced with theater seating. I had to order the theater seating from Camping World and since it is in the slide, we are having Camping World install it for $39.00.

A coworker removed a dinette from their non Jayco and installed a free standing table and chairs. They stated all they did was carefully located and removed all the screws. She said it just came right out with no issues. I took my dinette all apart and rebuilt it and used the same technique. Look at my signature for a few pictures under Dinette Rebuild.
