Replaced double bowl sink with single bowl

I got tired of the two small sections of the double bowl sink so I replaced it with a single bowl sink. It seems like manufacturers are of the opinion that everything in an RV should be small .

Nice! Very practical mod. I'll be adding this to my list...

I'm assuming you had to by an RV specific sink so it would fit? Was it easy to replace?

Curious where you ordered the sink? We thought about replacing ours with a stainless. Would probably require a little cutting / modifying, but no biggy. Being from Louisiana, you know we like our Magnalite and cast iron stuff, and the plastic sink doesn't like them.

Yea, it's a 25X19 size sink, same size and material as the original sink. Paid about $100 on Amazon. The installation was a breeze except for converting the double drain to a single drain. Jayco uses ABS pipes and fittings and they are not very easy to find (at least not for me).

I thought about stainless also but didn't want to give up the counter space or cut on the countertop (I just did that remodel at home). I'm guessing you are right about the plastic sink holding up to cast iron. This sink is the same material as the original sink and so, leaves a lot to be desired in quality.
