Replacing factory awning leds

So our factory led strip has flickering/ blinking leds on it. I have seen a lot of mods here on the amazon kits for dimable/color kits. would these kits be able to click right into the factory location? Anyone have a link to what I need?

It is probably not the LED light strip but the controller for it... I have not yet looked at a factory light strip but every other one I have looked at has had the same 4 pin connector so I bet you could just order another controller and be good to go.

Factory led strip is 2 wire. At least on 14s and 15s. 4 wire are color strips. Here in BC the factory strip retails for $144.99 from Domestic. Buy one from eBay for under 20 bucks and replace it yourself. That way you can go color and have a Dimmer etc onnit.

That's what I was thinking. The factory one is in what appears to be a hard plastic housing. The ones on amazon are just flexible/stick on, right? So do I remove the factory housing/strip all together.
