RVQ rail for small table mod

I constructed this tonight to utilize the rail for an RVQ. Found the hardware online for about 10 bucks. Pretty simple, yet useful....To me anyways.

I found something similar on an R-Vision forum. Great idea!

I like that idea. I had an RVQ with a previous TT and didn't care for it much. My new 5th has the bracket, but I didn't opt for the grill. This would make a great mod! I wonder how much weight it it can hold?

I would say less than 10-15 lbs is all I will set on it. It is intended for a 12-26" flat panel and a receiver.

Like the Mod, nice use of bracket.

Our Pinnacle also has the bracket, been thinking what to do with it, but it is behind the door side slide so probably will not do anything with it.

We also had the RVQ on our 05 Eagle, was not impressed.

Have Webber Baby Q now, love it, much better than the low heat, hard to clean RVQ.

Any one ever weighted the RVQ and bracket. I think it must weigh 20-25 lbs.

I had an old RVQ, it was alright, but use a Coleman Roadtrip now and like it much more. I have been debating using the bracket that holds it to turn it into a shelf, but haven't really gotten around to it.

Just as an fyi --The table can be a lot bigger if an adjustable table leg is added. Our 2002 jayco 1206 pop had the bracket that could be used for the table or the indoor/ outdoor stove. That bracket can be added to any tt, for any added feature just use the same screws that the factory bracket uses, thats what I did and everything works just fine. Larry

Does anyone know where to purchase the rail piece that goes on the TABLE that will be compatible with my already installed Jayco factory mounting rail?

Thanks

I saw someone elses mod to make a table. They suggested using adjustable paint roller extender hanldles for two outside legs of the table. Remember, your trailler has probably been leveled, but the ground is not... So these allow you to make the table pretty long ( mine is 4 foot) and able to hold quite a bit of weight.

And a note to ranger431 -- someone has finally come up with an easy and inexpensive way to hook the Coleman LXE grill to your quick connect gas line, and even mount it on the side of the trailer if you desire. See Trailerlife forum under DIY Mods.
